The Dormer Titanium Coated Jobber Drill Bit (A-002) is a professional HSS jobber drill with a TiN (Titanium Nitride) coated tip, designed for better accuracy, lower cutting force, and longer tool life when drilling metals, including stainless steel.

The A-002 features a self-centring split point for excellent positional accuracy and hole quality, and will drill up to 4x diameter in steel, stainless steel, cast iron, ceramics, plastics, and many other materials. Dormer A002 drill bits conform to DIN 338RN/BS328/ISO235 standards, have a right-hand spiral, and a 118° point angle.

The titanium nitride coating resists flank and crater wear and has low friction, promoting increased cutting speeds and extended tool life. An optimised web design provides strength and rigidity while making the drill easier to feed. The improved flute geometry assists with rapid chip evacuation during drilling.
