The Asada 200SP Reciprocating Pipe Saw is a professional-grade, electric reciprocating saw purpose-engineered for fast, efficient cutting of installed steel and stainless steel pipes in the field. Designed for plumbers, pipefitters, and mechanical contractors, it cuts steel pipes from 1/2" up to 8" and stainless steel pipes up to 8" (3mm wall thickness or less) directly on site — without the need to dismantle or remove the pipe from its installation position.

Powered by a robust 1,500W universal single-phase motor, the PS200SP delivers a cutting speed 32% greater than conventional pipe saw models — significantly reducing time on each cut and improving overall job productivity. Variable stroke speed from 700 to 2,060 SPM via a 6-position dial gives the operator precise control over cutting speed to match the material, pipe diameter, and wall thickness for optimal blade performance. A slow-speed start function ensures a controlled, safe start to each cut before reaching operating speed.

At just 3.9kg, the PS200SP is remarkably lightweight for its power class — making it easy to handle and position in confined or restricted spaces such as under roofs, inside ceiling voids, and in cramped mechanical rooms where larger cutting tools cannot be used. The included chain vise locks the saw securely around the pipe during cutting, providing stable, accurate cuts on steel pipes — especially larger diameters — while the guide plate keeps the blade aligned on the cut line during operation without chain vise. An overload protector automatically stops the motor if it reaches excessive operating temperatures, protecting the machine during demanding sustained use.

The reversible blade holder design allows both Asada genuine HSS saw blades and standard saber saw blades (BI-METAL) to be used — simply reverse the blade holder to switch between blade types, giving the operator maximum flexibility across different pipe materials. A comprehensive range of optional replacement blades is available for all supported pipe sizes and materials.
