The Bosch HSS-Co Metal Drill Bits are precision-engineered cobalt drill bits manufactured to the DIN 338 standard, designed for professional drilling in hard-to-machine metals. A 135° self-centring split-point tip combines active cutting with precise centring, allowing accurate starts without the bit wandering off-mark.

Built from cobalt-enhanced high-speed steel (HSS-Co), these bits offer superior heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS, making them well suited to alloyed and non-alloyed steel up to 1000 N/mm² tensile strength, stainless steel (V2A/V4A), cast iron, cast steel, and acid- and heat-resistant steels. Each size is supplied as a box of 10 bits of that diameter, with a cylindrical shank compatible with standard three-jaw drill chucks.
