The Dormer A-110 HS Long Series Drill is a high-speed steel long-reach drill bit designed for drilling deep holes across a wide range of materials, suitable for both hand and machine use.
The A-110 features a 118° conventional point angle and a right-hand spiral, and is steam-tempered for added wear resistance. Its extended flute length allows drilling depths of up to 6× the bit diameter — significantly deeper than a standard jobber drill — making it well-suited for reaching into deep or recessed work that shorter drills can't access.
Manufactured to DIN 340 (RN) / BS328 / ISO 494 standards, the A-110 is available in both imperial (inch) and metric (mm) sizes, giving machinists, fabricators, and workshop users flexibility to match the drill to their drawing or equipment standard.
