The Greenlee CLM-1000E Metric Cable Length Meter measures the length of insulated copper or aluminum conductors directly on the spool — no need to remove the cable, count turns, or weigh the spool.
The CLM-1000E is pre-set to measure 20 metric wire sizes from 0.75 mm² to 500 mm², with eight user-programmable settings available for additional sizes not included in the standard presets. It also functions as a low-resistance ohmmeter, measuring resistance values from 199.99 milliohms to 1999.9 ohms across 5 ranges — useful for verifying bonding and connection resistance in addition to cable length.
Kelvin-type alligator clips with solid copper contacts assure a low-resistance connection to the cable being measured, and the meter is powered by (6) 1.5V AA batteries for field use. Replacement calibration rods and Kelvin clips are available separately as accessories.
