Greenlee V-WATCH® Personal Voltage Detector w/ Flame Resistant Case, Kit

The Greenlee V-WATCH® Personal Voltage Detector Kit with Flame Resistant Case provides another level of safety for line crews, storm restoration workers, and first responders.

The V-WATCH alerts the user to the proximity of electric fields or energized electrical equipment with a loud alarm and bright lights — the frequency of the alarm increases as the user gets closer to the electrical hazard. It detects voltage above 4kVAC line-to-line (equivalent to 2400VAC line-to-ground), with a typical initial warning distance of about 7 ft from a 4kVAC conductor; warning distance increases with higher voltages.

This kit includes the C-10FR carrying case lanyard — high-visibility safety green shielded material with an outer layer of flame-resistant fabric — letting the detector be worn around the neck at mid-torso level with no need to carry anything extra. The detector uses a field replaceable 9V battery with a low battery indicator.
