Designed with an integrated hot-line latch, the grip can be safely positioned onto conductors using a hot-line stick. Once the stick is removed, the latch automatically closes to help prevent accidental disengagement from the cable. The hot-line latch also features three balance adjustment notches, allowing the grip to better match the direction of cable sag for improved handling during installation and maintenance.
