Featuring an aggressive knurled curved jaw, it provides a secure grip over a 1/4-Inch (6.35 mm) contact area, making it ideal for pulling EHS, messenger, and guy strand cables.

Manufactured from custom drop-forged, machined, and heat-treated steel, this grip delivers exceptional durability and dependable field performance. Every Klein grip is individually hand inspected, actuated for proper function, and rigorously load tested to ensure reliable operation under demanding utility and line construction conditions.

The 1625-20 accommodates cable diameters from 0.28 to 0.75-Inch (7.11 to 19.05 mm) and is rated with a maximum safe working load of 8,000 lb (3,628.7 kg). Its compact profile makes handling easier, while the integrated latch helps retain the cable securely inside the jaw during installation and pulling operations.
