HIGHLIGHTS:
Kobewel Welding Electrodes are professional-grade stick welding (SMAW) consumables from Kobewel Japan, covering both mild steel and stainless steel applications. The mild steel lineup includes three AWS electrode classifications — E6013-LF, E7018, and E6011 — across multiple diameter options, while the stainless steel range offers the E308L-16 classification for low-carbon 304/308 stainless welding. All packs are supplied in 5kg quantities with a rod length of 300mm.
The E6013-LF is a low-spatter, all-position general-purpose mild steel electrode with easy arc striking and smooth bead appearance — well-suited for fabrication and maintenance on mild and low-carbon steels. The E7018 is a low-hydrogen iron powder electrode for high-strength welds with excellent crack resistance, commonly used in structural and pressure vessel work. The E6011 is an all-position cellulosic electrode capable of welding on AC or DC current, including on dirty, rusty, or coated surfaces — ideal for maintenance and field repair. The E308L-16 stainless electrode is the standard choice for joining 304 and 308L series stainless steel, with the low-carbon content minimizing intergranular corrosion at weld heat-affected zones.
FEATURES:
- Kobewel Japan Brand – Professional-grade electrodes from an established Japanese welding consumable manufacturer.
- Three Mild Steel Classifications – E6013-LF (general purpose, low spatter), E7018 (low hydrogen, high strength), and E6011 (all-position, AC/DC, field repair).
- Stainless Steel Classification – E308L-16 for low-carbon 304/308 stainless steel welding.
- AWS-Standard Classifications – All electrodes follow AWS A5.1 (mild steel) and AWS A5.4 (stainless steel) designations.
- 5kg Pack, 300mm Rod Length – Practical shop quantity and standard rod length across the lineup.
- Multiple Diameter Options – 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.2mm, and 4.0mm available across the range for different joint thicknesses and applications.
APPLICATIONS:
- General-purpose mild and carbon steel fabrication (E6013-LF)
- Structural, pressure vessel, and high-strength weld joints (E7018)
- Field repair and maintenance welding on rusty, dirty, or coated steel (E6011)
- Welding 304 and 308L series stainless steel (E308L-16)
- General fabrication, manufacturing, construction, and repair welding
