HIGHLIGHTS:

Kobewel Welding Wire covers two MIG/FCAW wire families — Solid MIG Wire (ER70S-6) and Flux-Cored Wire (FCAW) — giving welders a choice of wire type to match their shielding gas setup, welding position, and base material requirements for mild and carbon steel welding.

The Solid MIG Wire (ER70S-6) is a copper-coated wire for use with shielding gas (CO₂ or Ar/CO₂ mix), available in 0.8mm, 1.0mm, and 1.2mm diameters in 5kg spools, and also in a 1.2mm × 15kg spool for higher-volume production use. Its high deoxidizer content handles mild surface contamination well and produces smooth, clean welds.

The Flux-Cored Wire (FCAW) is available in two classifications: E71T-GS (Gasless) — a self-shielding wire that requires no external shielding gas, making it suitable for outdoor and field welding — and E71T-1C (Double Shielded) — a gas-shielded flux-cored wire for higher deposition rates and improved impact toughness compared to gasless types, typically used with CO₂ shielding gas.
