The Makita VC013GLZ01 HEPA Portable Cordless Vacuum Cleaner is a professional 40Vmax XGT Brushless AWS Cordless Vacuum Cleaner designed for both wet and dry cleaning applications. With a compact portable design, powerful brushless motor, and Dust Class L HEPA filtration, it delivers strong cleaning performance while maintaining convenient cordless mobility.
Powered by the 40Vmax XGT Li-Ion battery platform, the VC013GLZ01 provides adjustable suction power from 25 to 165 W, with maximum sealed suction of 4.5–15 kPa and an air volume of 1.0–2.0 m³/min. The variable suction control allows the user to adjust the cleaning performance according to the application.
The vacuum features a 7.5 L dry dust capacity and 4.5 L wet debris capacity, making it suitable for both dry dust collection and wet cleaning tasks. Its HEPA filter effectively captures very fine particles, while the automatic filter-cleaning mechanism helps maintain suction efficiency when the damper and pre-filter are attached.
Equipped with Makita Auto-start Wireless System (AWS), the VC013GLZ01 can communicate wirelessly with compatible Makita AWS tools, allowing the vacuum to automatically operate in sync with the connected tool. The unit can also be quickly converted from a vacuum to a blower, providing additional versatility for cleaning applications.
The VC013GLZ01 also features XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) for improved resistance to dust and water exposure in demanding working conditions. A battery fuel gauge allows convenient monitoring of remaining battery capacity without opening the battery cover.
The VC013GLZ01 is a tool-only model. The 40Vmax XGT battery and charger are not included and are sold separately. The AWS wireless unit/chip is included with the AWS model, while wheels are available separately.

This Makita tool is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only when the product is used under normal conditions in accordance with the operating instructions.
- Warranty claims for this product are subject to evaluation by an authorized Makita Service Center to determine coverage eligibility.
- Proof of purchase from GIGATOOLS is required to validate the warranty.
- At Makita’s discretion, a defective product will be repaired or replaced with a new replacement product free of charge during the warranty period.
- The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, or repairs or alterations made by unauthorized persons or service centers.
- Normal wear and tear parts, such as carbon brushes, bearings, switches, and other consumable components that naturally degrade with regular use due to friction, heat, or mechanical stress, are not covered under this warranty. These parts are expected to require periodic replacement as part of routine maintenance.
- This warranty does not apply to products used for commercial or rental purposes, which may be subject to different warranty terms.
- This warranty is valid exclusively for products purchased from GIGATOOLS, an authorized Makita dealer in the Philippines.
