Powered by a 1/3 HP motor spinning cable at 165 RPM, the K-400 accommodates both 3/8" (10mm) cable for 1-1/2" to 3" lines and 1/2" (12mm) cable for 3" to 4" lines — covering the most common drain sizes encountered in residential and commercial service work. The drum holds up to 100 feet of 3/8" cable or 75 feet of 1/2" cable, providing ample reach for tackling blockages deep within the drain system.

The K-400 features a built-in integrated transport cart with heavy-duty large wheels that navigate easily over bumps and up stairs, combined with a retractable handle for comfortable, upright transport between job sites — eliminating the need for a separate cart. The patented Cable Control System stops drum spinning when the blade encounters a blockage, limiting the potential for cable flip-over and providing the operator with a clear tactile indication of when an obstruction has been reached. Solid Core Integral Wound (IW) cable construction delivers rugged, kink-resistant performance under the toughest working conditions.
