The Concrete Floor Scaler SSM Series is a range of heavy-duty floor scaling machines engineered for removing coatings, adhesives, paint, and surface contaminants from concrete floors, as well as light surface profiling ahead of resurfacing or coating applications. The series is available in two working widths — 200mm and 250mm — and in both gasoline-powered and electric-powered configurations, giving users the flexibility to choose the model that best matches their power source availability and jobsite requirements.
All four models in the series — SSM-2000H, SSM-2000E, SSM-2500H, and SSM-2500E — share a common mechanical design: a 6-shaft TCT blade cutting head rotating clockwise with a maximum cutting depth of 8mm, driven by either belt or direct drive. The 200mm-width models (SSM-2000H/E) deliver a work efficiency of 80 m²/h on C30 concrete at 8mm depth, while the wider 250mm models (SSM-2500H/E) increase that to 100 m²/h — covering more floor area per pass for larger-scale projects.
Each unit features a foldable handle and wheels for mobility, making the machine easy to transport and maneuver around the jobsite and to fold down for compact storage. The gasoline-powered models (SSM-2000H, SSM-2500H) run on a 4-stroke OHV, single cylinder, air-cooled engine, while the electric-powered models (SSM-2000E, SSM-2500E) run on dedicated single-phase or three-phase electric motors — eliminating fuel handling and exhaust emissions for indoor or enclosed-space work.

Shinsetsu Warranty Coverage
- 6 months parts and service against factory defects.
- Subject to inspection and evaluation by Shinsetsu Service Center to determine warranty eligibility.
- Warranty is void if the unit is damaged due to overheating, improper voltage supply, or engines run without proper lubrication/oil.
- Rejected: If the welding machine board is blown due to voltage spikes, an engine is seized from a lack of oil, or a pump impeller is jammed by large debris, the claim will be rejected (User Error).
Please retain your original proof of purchase. Warranty claims are valid only with proper documentation and within the warranty period.
